I'm getting impatient for summer to arrive. This school year has worn me out like none I can remember. Maybe I feel that way every year though. Maybe each year is just harder than the previous. Hmmm.

I want a new camera for the summer. I've been wanting one for years but at least I used to have an adequate one. My old camera started acting up so my wife got a new one. I hate the thing. On top of that, she dropped it and broke part of the door that holds in the batteries. Now it doesn't shut properly which causes the camera to go through a set of batteries very quickly. Having to change batteries so often is annoying.

But getting a new camera is out of the question because we have other things that require our money. Our roof needs to be fixed. A huge tree needs to be removed before it falls over and crushes our house (or something worse). And we still have only part of a backyard fence thanks to Hurricane Ike.

I'm coming into some extra money next month but we're going to use it to go to Canada. I don't mind so much since I haven't been in a few years and since my wife misses Canada dearly, but I still wish I could get a camera. Oh well.
