I don't know if anybody cares about instant film any more, but The Impossible project has some more Polaroid 600 film for sale (as of the date of this entry).

I bought a couple of packs myself. I did it for a couple of reasons, I suppose. When I was younger I always thought it was amazing that you could get a copy of your photo right away. Keep in mind, this was before digital cameras (or before they were really available/affordable to average consumers). So there is definitely the nostalgia factor. Luckily, both of my sisters still had old Polaroid cameras that were just collecting dust (one of them used to be my old camera).
The other reason is I wanted to have Polaroids of my son. I'm not entirely sure why. A large part of it may be because I tend to associate instant photos with family photos, and you can't have some family photos without a few Polaroids tossed in. A smaller part might be that one day I hope he looks at these photos and is intrigued by this old technology.
Anyway, just wanted to share that. These are the two photos I've taken so far. Not artistic by any stretch, but they certainly remind me of the old Polaroid photos my parents still have, and I really like that.
